Luce&Light is at Euroluce with a stand that presents all its collections, from its latest landscape and architecture products to its bestsellers for indoor and underwater applications – the latter reinterpreted creatively, beyond their usual context of use. Created in collaboration with studioutte, the exhibition area is intended as a fluid narrative that explores the relationship between light, space and matter.
studioutte: Architecture and lighting architecture are complementary, with each defining the other. Light is “light” (i.e. not heavy), like in the name of the brand that refines its beams and projections. This insight has led to the concept of a large canopy suspended over a world/landscape of lights. The landscape is animated by a single strip of greenery that doubles as a display. Above this is a sort of “impluvium” skylight that hollows out the roof, refining its geometry. All the colours are cool and the shapes muted, leaving the vast panorama of products and their technology that populate the stand to do the talking.
Design concept
The stand is conceived as a single, floating structure: a vast canopy suspended over a composition of pure, white volumes that define the perimeter. These monolithic blocks, painted white, serve multiple roles – they frame the steel reception counter that projects outward, showcase the products, shape the open-plan layout, and unfold to reveal a lounge area furnished with pieces created exclusively for L&L. While the perimeter structures are grounded and solid, the overhead canopy—lightweight and immaterial—appears to hover just above the blocks, never quite touching. In two points, it breaks away and opens upwards. The first is a dramatic black fabric “chimney”, echoing the stand’s dark, carpeted floor. This sculptural void acts like a blind skylight, its interior animated by rhythmic projections of geometric shapes. Beneath this large, splayed opening lies a sleek, multi-level, multifunctional counter in steel and black, back-painted glass. This element houses the greenery that sets the stage for L&L’s signature bollards—the focal point of the exhibition. The second opening rises above the lounge area, whose steel panelling gives way to a soaring double-height space painted entirely black. Suspended within it is a maple tree positioned on a tall plinth—not a real tree, but a projected image, perceptible only upon close inspection, like a quiet illusion waiting to be discovered.
Exploring lighting design: a journey through the L&L exhibition space
The L&L stand takes visitors on a journey through the company’s latest innovations and best-loved products. This immersive and engaging experience allows them to discover and appreciate the full power and poetry of L&L lighting.
Reception area
This area features fixtures mounted on poles of varying heights: Stem Do, Re, Mi, a family whose name playfully echoes musical notes. The light heads explore innovative configurations – spheres with a central cut, spheres with an illuminated lower part and flattened, funnel-shaped variants– offering different output modes. The flat heads project light downwards, helping to limit light pollution, while the others emit a soft, controlled glow. Fixed to the reception desk using custom flanges, these pole lights stand out for their versatility and ease of installation in landscape applications.
A continuous line of light
The suspended canopy over the stand features Rio 1, the bestselling drive-over fixture used to create continuous, uninterrupted lines of light. Thanks to the new RGBW version with native white LEDs (3000K), Rio now offers the option to alternate dynamic coloured scenes with shades of white light. The fixture’s precise design ensures gap-free installation, producing a continuous, uniform and flawless effect. In the lounge area, Rio 2 is built into the seating bench, where it enhances the spaces and materials while remaining discreetly hidden in the structure.
Geometries of light
At the entrance to the L&L stand, a large black “chimney” serves as a canvas for geometric light projections created using the Ginko 4.5 Light Shaper. These fixtures produce a fascinating rhythmic interplay of light and shadow on the chimney’s inner surfaces, creating a dynamic and engaging visual experience. Visitors can also interact with the Ginko range with beam shapers – available in three different sizes on nearby podiums, where they can create their own projections on the walls.
The garden: a green heart
At the centre of the stand is a serene garden, a linear green space showcasing L&L’s latest landscape lighting. Among the highlights are the Intono B (new) bollards, presented in three heights (30, 60 and 80 cm) in the standard anthracite finish and in a version with an FSC-certified teak body. The bollards’ compact structures house a minimalist light head with anti-glare optics, guaranteeing flux control and maximum visual comfort. Alongside Intono B are Plin and Plin Round, in the new version featuring an FSC-certified teak body. The use of this new material enables the product to blend beautifully into natural settings while maintaining top-tier performance and durability. These are followed by Pivot B, a bollard with one or two adjustable light heads, created to offer maximum flexibility along paths and in green spaces. Each fixture has interchangeable optics and can be adjusted for spotlighting. The wide range of optics available means that these devices can be easily adapted to the most diverse design needs.
Nestled among reeds and wildflowers, Olo (new) draws the eye in a version with a 180° output. Thanks to its compact body and elegant design, this product is perfect for casting a diffuse light over open spaces or paths through greenery. The stand also features the Olo with a 360° output, and visitors can try out its two separately activated outputs, alternating between a courtesy light and functional lighting. Finally, the garden also features Trevi fixtures in the version with a ground spike, to show off their extreme versatility.
Benches of recessed and projector fixtures
At the far end of the garden stands the bench dedicated to recessed fixtures. Among the innovations here is Smoothy with a brass trim – a material chosen for its resilience in challenging outdoor environments. Neva Pro (new) makes its debut here in an RGBW version, a significant evolution for one of our classic bestsellers. The product is now available in various power and optics configurations, including asymmetric, wall washer and light blades. Improved in both form and function, thanks to the new Flux glass and a black-painted aluminium body, Neva Pro is an outdoor linear profile for the architectural illumination of walls and facades. Already designed to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, it has now been given an even more minimal design, while its performance has been further improved. Neva Pro is also present on the bench showcasing the projectors, in the white light version, with black-painted brackets, as well as being installed in the floor to cast a grazing light on a folded-sheet-metal wall that separates the technical area from the lounge.
Back on the bench of recessed fixtures, Glim and Pod (new) ceiling-recessed fixtures are displayed on poles so that their pared-down design can be more easily appreciated. This also provides the opportunity to discover their mechanical characteristics, which are designed to ensure continued superior resistance. Glim provides a diffuse light, while Pod is available with a fixed or adjustable output (IP54). The display also includes Litus outdoor recessed fixtures. These drive-over fixtures, with their all-glass cover and flush installation, are perfect for concealed architectural design. Rounding out the recessed lighting bench is the Quilatero in stainless steel: the drive-over uplight, with a built-in power supply and tiltable optics (up to 20°), is intended for facade lighting.
The projector bench also has a selection of L&L’s most versatile lighting families for architectural lighting: in addition to Neva Pro with brackets, it houses Ginko (with fixed optics and zoom lens), Reiko (with elliptical optics), Pivot (with optics adjustable using a magnet, also displayed in the brass version) and Oliver (new). This new high-power projector is available in three diameters (Ø180, Ø230, Ø300), with pole-mounting accessories, and in a 2200K version. It offers h a very narrow 5° beam in white light and a 10° beam in RGBW.
Wall-mounted lighting
The left wall of the stand features Maris (new) wall-mounted fixtures, specifically the single-beam versions in the three available sizes – 70/150/200 mm – all made of stainless steel and glass for optimal corrosion resistance, ideal for outdoor applications.
The lounge
Upon entering the lounge, visitors encounter the Trevi floor lamp (new), with a paintable steel base for freestanding installation – in both both single- and double-light-head configurations. Above, the second opening in the suspended canopy reveals a maple tree elevated on a plinth, encircled by a ring reminiscent of a candelabra. From it, Ginko 3.0 fixtures with built-in shadow-effect filters cast delicate patterns on the floor, evoking a magical scene of woodland undergrowth.
The tree is further lit by two Ginko Light Shapers, framing it elegantly against the vault above. On the walls, elements are illuminated by Ginko 3.0 with 2° optics, positioned up to 10 metres away. And, from the top of the “chimney”, other Ginko projectors – again with 2° optics – point towards the opposite wall, creating captivating points of light.
The alcoves
Finally, moving back to the reception desk, there is a series of alcoves containing the different versions of the Krill Light Shaper, complete with all the available accessories, such as the magnetic plate and the double-jointed pole, available in different lengths, that’s adjustable by up to 180°. This family of compact projectors with a pared-down design is ideal for lighting windows and cabinets in the retail and museum sectors.
With this installation, Luce&Light offers an immersive experience at Euroluce 2025 in which technology, design and the poetry of light come together to showcase new creative possibilities.
