We are thrilled to announce that L&L will be participating in the Fête des Lumières – Festival of Lights 2024 in Lyon, taking place from 5 to 8 December, where we are sponsors of the Winter Blossom installation. This iconic edition will transform the city of Lyon into a shining stage to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the festival, where innovative light-art works merge with the urban landscape.
Winter Blossom, in the atmospheric Tête d’Or Park, offers an immersive visual experience that combines style and creativity, evoking the fragility of nature through a swaying flower garden of light.
The installation is the work of the Darkitects artistic collective, with the collaboration of Lea and Hyperchrome. It invites visitors to reflect on the highly topical climate change issues: how do we view the changes taking place in nature? What do we want to conserve?
The festival is a must-see for lighting designers, architects and planners, but also for anyone who wants to explore innovative solutions and new perspectives in lighting.
We look forward to seeing you at the Tête d’Or Park, where you’ll be able to immerse yourself in the unique landscape of Winter Blossom, a garden of otherworldly flowers brought to life under a magnified forest canopy, a powerful visual reminder of the issues of climate change and the need to preserve nature.
