Symposium in Berlin: the future of sustainable lighting

Share

On 5 November, Luce&Light will be in Berlin for the Zukunftsfähig Beleuchten symposium. It offers the perfect opportunity to explore the latest perspectives on sustainability in lighting and share the values that guide our own research: quality, durability and a watchful eye on light pollution.

Place and time:
Marshall-Haus, Messe Berlin
5 November 2024, from 9.00 am to 7.30 pm

Additionally, on 6 November at 4.35 pm, we’ll be taking part in the Planners Dialogue to talk about Luce&Light’s goals and solutions for sustainable lighting. We’ll also be sharing our recent experience at Going Dark, a workshop where we looked at using light responsibly and respecting the night sky.

For us, sustainability is a journey made up of a series of choices and a daily commitment. We believe that the best way to combat waste is with quality and long-term reliability. As a result, our products are made from carefully selected high-quality materials and undergo rigorous resistance and reliability testing, guaranteeing a long service life.

Our premises are powered entirely by solar energy, and our suppliers are all just a few kilometres away. This enables us to reduce our energy footprint and CO₂ emissions, and move towards an increasingly sustainable production model, while also ensuring greater control over product quality.

To further extend the life cycle of our lighting fixtures and thus reduce waste and environmental impact even more, we are also working on a complete reconditioning service, which will enable us to regenerate and update our products.

Finally, to improve luminous efficiency and minimize light pollution, we offer projectors with a wide range of optics and solutions for controlling luminous flux, including dimmers and accessories such as honeycomb louvres, snoots and shadow-effect filters, to intelligently control intensity and light spill.

Our collections also include LEDs with a 2200K colour temperature, designed to reduce the impact on the surrounding flora and fauna and create a more harmonious, welcoming atmosphere in your outdoor spaces.
